Should you upgrade to the Galaxy S10 or S10+?

It’s that time where your phone is so slow you can barely run YouTube without it freezing and crashing. What about your text messages? Being delayed? Maybe the GPS isn’t working right so you’re cursing your service provider because the data is just too slow. Or maybe it’s time for a new phone. Maybe that Galaxy S7 isn’t holding the charge like it used to. Maybe you just want to upgrade that Galaxy S9 to get a fresh new feel with that completely notchless screen that Samsung is offering.

But should you?

The answer varies. We know the specs of a Samsung phone are always going to be top notch. The Galaxy S10 now offers three back facing cameras and the front camera in the form of a punch cut out. While the Galaxy S10+ offers an extra selfie camera in the front.

We’ve all see the phone is pretty and holds up pretty well with the 8GB of RAM and 3400mAh battery. It will last longer, it is way more powerful than their predecessor and let’s be real, Samsung has one of the best cameras in the market (although I still think the Pixel 3 has them beat) I would say that if you really need to the Galaxy S10 is an incredible upgrade. Especially if you’re all about the beautiful cameras. Do I think the price is justified? Probably not. I don’t think any of the flagship phone prices are justified for what they are (except maybe the OnePlus 7 Pro). But if you’re a Samsung lover and you’re a tech lover and you really see yourself using the phone to its full potential so I say go for it.

Just keep in mind that the phone starts at $899.99 and the s10+ $899.99. It’s a hefty price for a phone but who am I to talk? I’ve spent that and more on phones.

The software is buttery smooth and oh so very fast. It’s got a large display and so seamless even with cut out at the top. (Ahem Apple and their whack notch at the top need to take some pointers.)

I’d say if you have a Galaxy s8 or lower? You should definitely upgrade. If you have a Galaxy s9? I’d say stick it out for the next Galaxy phone! There’s always a new phone around the corner. Am I the only one super excited about what they’ll be doing with the Note 10? Anyway! I leave you guys with that food for thought and hope that my input has helped someone.
